According to Mastercard, card manufacturers must replace fossil plastic with eco-friendly materials by 2028. Using existing machinery and reed plants, Sutu can achieve this with a 13x smaller footprint.

Beyond the 33 billion bank cards in circulation, we aim to help the public sector adopt greener alternatives, like transport cards. Our sustainability is rooted in fast-regenerating reed plants, which are available and scalable globally.

We have also prototyped 3D printing and injection molding technologies, paving the way for further growth and the expansion of the reed revolution.
